A little about Jim

A Scituate local in mind and heart, Jim is a man of the sea. He’s even known to commute to the office by boat from time to time. When he gets here, he’s all about our clients – focusing on mission-driven organizations and institutions. Firmly believing in our clients’ causes, he is a passionate advocate for their needs. Known for going out on a limb, Jim comes up with thoughtful and unconventional approaches to real estate solutions, and his ideas are known to knock it out of the park. Maybe that’s why his nickname is Fenway.

Jim has been at McCall & Almy from the beginning – spending almost all of his 27-year career at the firm, committed to tenant advocacy and providing institutional advice. At the beginning of his time here, David Almy inspired him to get involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. Fast forward two decades, and he’s been actively engaged in many leadership positions – something he says he could never give up. Jim’s passion for work is evident, but if you know him, so is his dry sense of humor. Just ask him what he likes most about his boat, and he’ll tell you, “when it runs.”

Jim always thinks about the big picture. His creative and thoughtful approach to our real estate always delivers great results.”
