Why M&A: I chose to work at McCall & Almy because of the people. I knew they were the smartest and most highly regarded in the industry. I wish I could say I was drawn to the tenant-rep only focus, but I only came to appreciate that later. First and foremost, and still to this today, what I appreciate the most at McCall & Almy are the people.
Best M&A memory: As much as I thought I knew what McCall & Almy was all about during my first few months here, it was at the first holiday party that it really sunk in. These people really care about each other and that sense of community is shown in our work every day.

With his dry sense of humor and ability to keep a straight face, Garrett is the most likely culprit of pulling off a practical joke. That straight face pays off when negotiating on a client’s behalf. Our clients will tell you he has a real knack for being an advisor who takes the time to understand their needs and then negotiate hard for the outcome they want. The ability to meet and connect with so many different types of people is something that Garrett loves about his job, and he lives for the first meeting. He loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. When he’s not at the office, in traffic on the Pike, or at home, Garrett likes to being on the golf course.
