William F. McCall, Jr. President

Bill McCall has wisely counseled institutions, corporations and property
owners on the valuation, acquisition, disposition and leasing of real
estate for over 45 years. His decades of experience, clarity of vision
and market sense have produced great value to clients seeking independent
real estate counsel. Since forming his team at McCall & Almy in 1990,
Bill has surrounded himself with accomplished individuals who share his
passion for delivering value-added results. His expertise and contacts
within the New England real estate community provide unparalleled access
to valuable real estate information and resources.
Prior to founding McCall & Almy with his late partner, David Almy,
Bill was a founder of the successful Leggat McCall & Werner in 1965
and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Leggat McCall/Grubb &
Ellis through 1989.
Bill has had a formidable role in shaping New England’s commercial
real estate landscape. He is the past President of The Greater Boston
Real Estate Board, former Chairman of Massachusetts Government Land Bank,
former Director of Copley Properties, Inc. and Beacon Properties Corporation,
and former Chairman of the Babson College Real Estate Advisory Board.
Currently, he serves as Director of Jobs for Massachusetts and the Massachusetts
Business Development Corporation, and on the Real Estate Committee of
the Pension Reserved Investment Management (PRIM) Board. He is a former
Trustee of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the American Society
of Real Estate Counselors. He and David Almy, shared the 1996 Commercial
Broker of the Year award by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
Bill is Chairman of Friends of Post Office Square, Inc., a member of the
Finance Council and Chairman of the Real Estate Committee for the Archdiocese
of Boston, and a Trustee of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is a former
Trustee of both the Beth Israel Hospital and Winchester Hospital and past
President of the Winchester Country Club.
Bill holds a B.A. in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross.
