Mary L. Lentz, Executive Vice President

Mary Lentz serves as a real estate advisor for the firm’s clients
with a specialization in institutional and tenant advisory services and
life sciences companies. She has been involved in many aspects of the
industry, having worked for companies in the real estate development,
financing and investment arenas. Mary started her career as a CPA. She
specializes in corporate users and non-profit and health care clients
including Partners HealthCare System, Inc.
Mary was a director of the Commercial Brokers Association of the Greater
Boston Real Estate Board from 1992 to 2000. She has been named a Platinum
member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club by CBA each year since 2000 and
was named a Top Five Office Broker for 2002 and 2003 by the Greater Boston
Real Estate Board. She is a current member of New England Women in Real
Estate.
Prior to joining McCall & Almy, Mary was Chief Operating Officer of
Copley Properties, a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT),
where she directed and executed the strategic plans of the company including
equity and debt financings, acquisitions, dispositions, property and asset
management, financial reporting, budgeting and joint venture restructuring.
From 1986 to 1993, Mary managed the leasing and marketing activities of
International Place, a 2 million square foot, retail and office complex
in Boston’s Financial District with over 100 tenants. Previous to
1986, she was a partner of First Winthrop Corporation. She began as a
CPA with Arthur Young and Company.
Mary is a Trustee of the Newton-Wellesley Physicians Hospital Organization,
Overseer of Newton-Wellesley Hospital and a previous Board member of its
Charitable Foundation. She is also a member of the Wayland High School
Building Committee. From 1997 to 2003, Mary was a member of the Town of
Wayland Zoning Board of Appeals. She was also a member of Town of Wayland
committee that was responsible for the sale of town-owned land to a developer
to create affordable and elderly assisted and independent living housing.
Mary holds an MS in Finance/Planning and Control from the Sloan School
at MIT and graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a BS in
Accounting and Computer Science.
