James A. Canfield, Executive Vice President

Jim Canfield has been a member of the McCall & Almy team since its inception in 1990.
Jim is the Assistant Treasurer and an Executive Committee Member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, an organization with over 7,000 members. He was previously a Director of the Real Estate Finance Association and served as President of this 600+ member organization in 2004.

Jim has served on the Executive Committee of The Business Associates Club for 5 years and was President of the Organization for 2005-2006. Jim has been named a Platinum member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club of the Commercial Brokers Association on multiple occasions, and was named a Top Five Office Broker in 2002 by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.

Jim is an Overseer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and serves on the Overseer’s Leadership Council and Development Committee. He is also involved in fundraising activities for the Scituate Library Foundation.
Jim began his professional career as an account executive for Bozell & Jacobs, a leading public relations firm based in New York City. In 1987, he joined Digital Equipment Corporation as a member of their corporate financial training program.

Jim holds a BA, magna cum laude, in Economics from Colby College.
